JOSEPH A. WHALEN
Executive Director Green Chimneys School
Fairfield County, Connecticut

In the past four years, Green Chimneys’ School has used Sweet Peet® in planting beds, around trees, ivy, and myrtle beds. Sweet Peet® give a natural soil look with its rich brown color.
Sweet Peet® has reduced labor costs because it is weed free, keeps moisture levels high and allows good soil drainage. Sweet Peet® has been used on sharp slopes with little to no erosion. Ivy and myrtle have developed quickly and with massive root systems. One-year plantings look like two and three year plantings.

Sweet Peet® is now being used as a soil mix, with sand, in our nursery production. This mix is lightweight and less costly. Root systems develop in less time and are much more fibrous.
